Longing for the day when we finally meet again
An account of the time we were apart, from the day the earth stood still to the day we finally rejoiced in being reunited.
A few years ago, just a few days before spring, the whole world came to a standstill. BTS world tour plans dissolved in an instant. The members who were unexpectedly devastated were given time to reflect on themselves. They put aside their discomfort and made portraits under the motto "Myself." For the first time since their debut, they looked at their everyday lives - taking photos showing a day in their lives and their personal preferences, or giving interviews to share news and thoughts. As they slowly adapted to the changes, they knew that the stage was where they truly belonged. And they wondered if things would ever return to normal.
But BTS gave themselves courage and got back on their feet. That same year they released the song of the summer with “ Dynamite ” and consoled their fellow singers with “ Life Goes On ”. The following year they released " Butter " and " Permission to Dance " and by the end of that year they were finally reunited with their fans - just as they had dreamed of in the many nights leading up to that moment. The reunification was all the more glorious because it was long awaited. With " Yet to Come " they told us they would be gone for a little while, and with " Take Two " they promised us a new beginning. Now they're waiting for the day when all seven members can see fans in person and sing together.
This documentary photo book contains over 600 pages of raw and unadorned photos from this period of BTS's life.
